Job Purpose
The HR Assistant supports the HR Director and HR Officer in delivering professional and pro-active HR services.

Administration
• Maintains employee information and employee files.
• Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, recruitment, training and performance appraisals.
• Keeps org charts up to date.
• Maintains correct and up-to-date salary information database.
• Prepares HR correspondence (e.g. contracts, NDAs, letters of reference).

Support
• Signals compliance issues concerning HR guidelines and policies.
• Provides support and assistance for HR related projects (e.g. implementation of HR processes).
• Facilitates recruitment, onboarding and exiting processes.
• Receives and responds to varied general HR questions from employees, applicants or managers, referring more difficult ones to more senior HR staff.
• Keeps HR related information up to date on the intranet.
• Prepares reports and information on HR activities/HR data on request.

HR Office Management
• Manages calendar and ensures optimal scheduling of meetings/events.
• Makes travel arrangements.
• Responds to incoming phone calls and takes messages for the HR department.
• Takes minutes at HR meetings.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Records and systems kept up to date, accurate and well organised.
• Quality of communication with employees and line managers.

Je profiel:

• Understanding of HR administration - ability to complete tasks independently, be organised, prioritise when given a variety of tasks and develop processes and procedures.
• Bachelor degree or ability to work and think at bachelor level.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in working in an international organisation and in communicating in English.
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written & spoken English and Dutch.
• Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pro-active operating style.
• High level of discretion.

Het aanbod:

Salary indication of around € 35,000 gross a year, including holiday pay.

Our client is an international philanthropic foundation, with approximately 110 employees across the world. Its global team of approximately 30 people is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The foundation supports projects in Education and Society.
